Load Chain Wheel: S.G. Iron Casting – Accurately pocketed and internally grinded for longer life of main shaft.
Braking Mechanism: Screw & friction disc type – Self-actuating.
Hand Chain Wheel: Pressed steel – Accurately pocketed for smooth hand chain pulling operation.
Gears: Alloy steel material, precision machined, gear-hobbed and case-hardened, duly annealed. Gears are lubricated with semi-liquid grease instead of oil, reducing leakage, eliminating oil-level checks, and ensuring lubrication even after long idle periods.
Design Type Test: Successfully completed as per IS: 3832-2005 (4 times load lifted for 5 minutes during design stage).
Endurance Type Test: Successfully completed as per IS: 3832-2005 (100 hours running on block at hand chain speed of 20 mtr/min, once in six months).
